IGNOU July Admission Re-Registration Extended Till June 30

The Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for students to apply for the July 2026 re-registration. Those students who have not yet registered for online distance learning and online programs can register by the 30th June 2026. Furthermore, the re-registration is mandatory for seeking admission to the next semester or academic year of their respective programs. 

Additionally, the Open University has extended the application deadline for all online distance learning and online mode programs except for certificate and semester-based programs. Interested students can re-register at the IGNOU dashboard at ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login.

Students who are trying to fill out the re-registration form should make sure they have all the important details, such as their registered mobile number, email address, user ID, password, and banking details, ready. Additionally, applications must pay INR 300 as a re-registration fee, but if they submit the application form after the deadline, they pay an additional late fee of INR 200, along with the regular charges. 

Steps to Apply for the IGNOU Re-Registration Process

The re-registration form is available on the official portal at ignou.samarth.edu.in. After selecting the program they want to apply to, students can complete the process by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Students must visit ignou.ac.in and open the re-registration link under ‘Register Online.’

Step 2: Before registering themselves, students must read all the instructions on the portal. 

Step 3: Students must log in using the required credentials, fill in their personal details, and select their preferred courses. 

Step 4: Next, students must upload all the required documents and pay the required fee. 

Step 5: The final step requires students to review the form and submit it. They can also download the confirmation page and receipt
