IGNOU BA Admission 2025: Students who were waiting to fill out the application form for the IGNOU BA program can now fill out the application form by visiting the official website of the university before 15 July 2025. IGNOU has started BA admission from 06 June 2025 at 5:00 PM for the academic session July 2025. The university offers a BA program in 20+ subjects through various Departments.

The university provides a BA FYUP (Four-Year Undergraduate Programme) and a normal 3-year BA degree course. Students need to go through the IGNOU SAMARTH portal to take admission in the course. IGNOU offers direct admission to the BA course, and students are not required to give any entrance exam to enroll in the course.

Students who have completed their Class 12 and are looking for the opportunity to pursue a BA program can apply for the course by paying an application fee of INR 300. They must secure at least 45% marks in Class 10+2. IGNOU does not conduct any entrance exam for BA admission. Interested students can apply directly for the course. 

The annual course fee to pursue a BA from IGNOU is approximately INR 5,000-6,000 per annum, excluding the BA in Journalism and Digital Media and the BA in Facilities and Services Management. Students have to pay approximately INR 10,600/Year for these two courses. 

IGNOU provides two types of BA programs: One is FYUP and the other is a 3-year Hons. course. BA program disciplines available at IGNOU include English, History, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Urdu, Hindi, Mass Media, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Psychology, and more. The program duration is around 3 to 4 years, depending on the program selected by the students.
