IGNOU MCom Admission 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the MCom admission forms for the academic session July 2025. The admission forms are now available on the university website on 06 June 2025 for the Master of Commerce. Eligible students can apply for admission by going through the official website of the university. The last date for admission is 15 July 2025. The university offers an MCom program to students who have completed their Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks from a recognised institute.

• Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the re-registration process for the July 2025 session. Eligible candidates can apply on IGNOU website onliner.ignou.ac.in before July 15, 2025.

It is advised that students should make ready the required documents for admission, and must submit the form before the last date to avoid the last-minute traffic on the website. IGNOU MCom application process is online, and students can fill out the form by paying a non-refundable application fee of INR 300. The annual MCom course fee is INR 9,700.

The university opens the admission window twice a year, for January and July sessions. IGNOU does not conduct any entrance exam for MCom; students can enroll in the course directly if they fulfill the eligibility criteria. IGNOU MCom course duration is a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years. MCom Ist year syllabus comprises compulsory subjects (Core subjects), and the IInd year syllabus includes compulsory and specialisation subjects + project work.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the MCom application forms on 06 June 2025 for the July session, and the expected last date for form submission is 15 July 2025. Students who are thinking of or willing to enroll in the Master of Commerce program at IGNOU must prepare their documents that are necessary for admission. The documents include:

Students who have completed their graduation degree with 50% marks from a recognised university with at least 50% marks and are looking to get admission in the MCom program can apply through the official website of the university. IGNOU also provides a 5% relaxation in marks to the students who belong to SC/ST/OBC. They are required only 45% in their Bachelor’s degree.

IGNOU MCom Syllabus 2025

IGNOU MCom syllabus encompasses a total of 80 Credits, categorised across two academic years (4 Semesters). Students have to pass 40 credits in each year of the course. In the initial two semesters (1st year), students are required to undertake all prescribed subjects that provide a strong foundational knowledge of the concerned subject. In Sem III and Sem IV, the students have to study core subjects, elective subjects, and a mandatory research project/dissertation.
