IGNOU DElEd Admission 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) provides an opportunity to pursue the DElEd (Diploma in Elementary Education) to students who have completed Class 12th with at least 50% marks, along with two years of teaching experience. The university has released the application form on 6 June 2025 for the academic session 2025. The students can apply for admission through the official website of the university by 31 July 2025. The students have to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 300, and an annual course fee is INR 8,000.

Note: IGNOU has discontinued the Diploma in Elementary Education (DELED) program from 2019.

• Admission process has started now for the DELED program at IGNOU, and the deadline to submit the application form is 31 July 2025 at the official web portal.
• IGNOU DELED Re-Registration process has also ongoing for the July academic session, and the deadline to submit the form has been extended to 31 July 2025.

The university offers the DElEd program to those who want to enter the teaching profession at the school level. IGNOU DElEd course syllabus includes the subjects, such as Educational Technology, Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology, Environmental Education, and Pedagogical Subjects. The students can complete the course in a minimum of 2 years, and students can extend it up to a maximum of 4 years if they are not able to complete the course within the minimum timeframe.

Students who are interested in pursuing the elementary teaching diploma course should have completed 12 years of schooling, along with 2 years of teaching experience. The course fee is quite reasonable, and students can easily afford it. The course fee is INR 3000 per year, and the application fee is INR 300.

Which includes a passport-size photograph, a signature, an educational certificate, valid ID proof, mark sheet, category certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), and an application fee of Rs 300.
