IGNOU Examination Form Filling Date Extended - Check Revised Schedule Here

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, has announced the extension of the last date for submission of the Online Examination Form. As per the official notification released on 06 October 6 2025, the last date to fill the online examination form is 20 October 2025, without a late fee. Once the online application form window closes, a new window will open from 21 October  2025 to 26 October 2025, for students to fill out the application forms with a late fee. The students unable to submit the application form by October 20, 2025, will have to pay a late fee of INR 1100. 

The announcement was made on the official website of IGNOU in the 'Student Evaluation Division’ for both the ODL and Online Programs for the IGNOU Exam Form December 2025 Term-end Examination (TEE). In order to extend the last date for filling up the online application for the term-end examination, the university had the approval of the Competent Authority. The move aims to assist students by giving them additional time for the completion of the exam form submission process. 

All the students are hereby advised to ensure the submission of their examination forms via the official IGNOU portal. No offline submission of the examination forms will be accepted, and students have to ensure the required fee payment at the time of submission. Moreover, only those students who have valid course registrations and completed assignments will be eligible to appear in the December 2025 term-end examination.

The extension of the form submission last dates comes as a relief to students who faced difficulty completing and submitting the examination form on time due to unavoidable reasons. Given the large student body, the extension serves IGNOU's aim to accommodate the diverse needs of students. 

The notification for the exam form submission extension is circulated to all the schools, divisions, and regional centres associated with IGNOU. The students must take note of the revised schedule for the term-end examination and ensure timely submission to avoid the last-minute hassle. How to fill the IGNOU Examination Form December 2025

The procedure for filling out the INDGU exam form is rather easy. Students may follow these steps:

• Visit the site https://www.ignou.ac.in/.
• Go to the section "Student Zone” and open the "Exam Form December 2025” page
• Enter your enrolment number and select your program code.
• Select your exam centre and your preferred subjects for the exam.
• Before submitting, verify all the details carefully.
• The exam fee can be paid online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
• Download and save a copy filled until then for reference to your future needs.
