IGNOU DNHE Admission 2025: The Diploma in Nutrition & Health Education Admission process at IGNOU for the July 2025-26 academic session will begin on 28 May 2025. IGNOU offers the DNHE course through the School of Continuing Education to give a basic understanding of public health. The course has a minimum duration of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years to complete the course. Candidates who are willing to take admission must hold at least 10 + 2 from a recognised board. The DNHE syllabus consists of 4 subjects having 32 Credits covering the titles Nutrition for the Community, Public Health and Hygiene, Nutrition and Health Education, and Project Work. Assessment criteria are based on a combination of assignments, Term-End Examinations (TEE), and a project. Subjects are taught in English & Hindi.

After pursuing the course, the students can participate in events related to community health, nutrition, & all. They can also take part in NGOs to increase awareness among the public, especially in slum areas. The course does not require any high qualifications, the applicant must have only Class 12.
