IGNOU Online CLIS Admission 2026: Students seeking admission to the online Certificate in Library and Information Science (CLIS) program can apply through the official IGNOU admission portal. The university will release the CLIS application form from 01 December 2025* for the academic session January 2026. Students must submit their application form before the final deadline. The online CLIS application fee is INR 300, and the full course fee is INR 3,000.

The course has a minimum duration of 6 months, which can be extended up to a maximum of 24 months. Students who want to pursue the certificate course must possess at least a 10+2 education or its equivalent. IGNOU delivers the CLIS course through an online mode. To complete the online CLIS application form, applicants must provide the necessary documents like a valid identification proof, a passport-size photo, a scanned signature, the Class 10th marksheet & certificate, the Class 12th marksheet & certificate, and a debit/credit Card for fee payment of INR 300. The applicants also need to pay INR 3,000 as the course fee.
