MA Education application forms are now available on the official website of the university. The admission window has been opened on 6 June 2025. The students who are thinking of filling out the application form must go to the university website, ignou.ac.in. Admission forms will remain available on the portal till 15 July 2025. Aspiring students must have at least a Bachelor’s degree to take admission in the course. 

IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) provides a Master of Arts in Education through the School of Education. The course duration is 2 years, however, students can extend it maximum of 4 years. The students have to pay INR 300 as an application fee to complete the admission process. IGNOU MA Education course fee is INR 9,700 per year. 

Before applying for admission, students must know the eligibility criteria. Students who have done their Undergraduate degree from a recognised university are eligible to enroll in the course. The medium of instruction is English and Hindi. At the time of filling the application form, students must fulfill the eligibility criteria. The minimum eligibility to take admission in the course is a Graduation degree. The students have to pay an application fee of INR 300 (non-refundable), and the annual course fee is INR 9,700/year. The students can complete the course in a minimum of 2 years. This may be extended to 4 years if they are unable to complete it in the minimum duration.
