IGNOU Online MCA Admission 2026: IGNOU Online MCA application forms are available online on the official website of the university. The forms were released on 25 May 2026 for the academic session July 2026. Students who wish to take admission to the Online MCA programme must submit their application form by 31 July 2026. The university will not accept applications after the deadline.  

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers an Online Master of Computer Applications (MCA) to those students who want to pursue careers in the Information Technology or Software Engineering field. This course is best suited for students interested in computer programming. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a BCA degree or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, candidates with a BA, BCom, or BSc degree who studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level are also eligible, subject to completing the bridge courses prescribed by IGNOU. Students can apply for the program by paying an online application fee of INR 300 (non-refundable). Students also have to pay INR 12,700 per Semester as a course fee. Apart from this, Students who opt for the subjects MCS-201 and MCS-208 must pay an additional INR 2000 per subject.

Students can complete the course in a minimum of 2 years, and it can be extended up to a maximum of 4 years.
