IGNOU Shimla Regional Centre Admission 2025: The Shimla Regional Centre of IGNOU, located in Himachal Pradesh state, was established in 1989. IGNOU Shimla offers postgraduate diploma courses in a variety of fields, such as Disaster Management (PGDDM) and International Business Operations (PGDIBO) etc. Students can pursue the diploma course only if they are eligible, which requires a Bachelor’s degree. Apart from these courses, RC Shilma also provides options to take admission in Diploma Programs, including Diploma in HIV and Family Education (DAFE), Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE), Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECE), etc. The eligibility for admission to the Diploma is at least Class 12.

Certificate programs like Certificate in Laboratory Techniques (CPLT), Certificate in Tourism Studies (CTS), Certificate in Information Technology (CIT), Certificate Programme Teaching of Primary School Mathematics (CTPM), etc, are also available at IGNOU RC Shimla. Students who have completed Class 12 are eligible to enroll in IGNOU Shimla Certificate courses. The minimum duration of the certificate course is 6 months.
