IGNOU Online BTS Admission 2026: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will open the admission process for the Online Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS) program for 2026. The online application form was released on 01 December 2025* at the official portal ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. Students can submit their applications by 31 January 2026**.

Students who have an interest in travel and tourism can pursue the BTS course online. They are not required to visit the centre physically, and the entire process is online, from filling out the application form to completing the course. IGNOU Online BTS application fee is INR 300, and the annual course fee is INR 3,400. 

Eligibility to enroll in the Online BTS course is 10+2/Class 12 from a recognised board, and the minimum duration of the course is 3 years. The university also gives flexibility to complete the course in a maximum of 6 years. IGNOU Online BTS syllabus covers a total of 96 credits and includes subjects like Event management, Event planning, Tourism marketing, Tourism Development: Products, Operations and Case Studies, Airport Handling, etc.

IGNOU Online BTS application forms are released twice a year (for January and July sessions). For the January 2026 academic session, application forms for the IGNOU Bachelor of Tourism Studies in online mode are available on the university website. The university is accepting admission applications from 01 December 2025* and the last date to submit the application form is 31 January 2026*. Students who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply, and at the time of filling out the application form, students must have a scanned copy of the following documents:

• A passport-size photo,

• A category certificate (if applicable),

• Debit/Credit card to pay the application fee (INR 300).
